Coexistence with other testing tools

Move page areas to Apex safely while existing experimentation and analytics tools remain installed.

Never run two testing tools on the same element or page area. Divide ownership clearly while migrating.

Statsig: Do not run an Apex test and a Statsig experiment on the same area. Apex can read statsig_experiment from the dataLayer as a segment.
GemPages: Pause its A/B test or pin it to one variant before Apex owns that area.
Shoplift: Let running tests finish, move each area to Apex, and remove the app at the end.
AB Lift: Keep one owner per area. Stop the test there before starting it in Apex, and create no new tests there once Apex is live.
PostHog: Do not test one element with both tools. Keep Apex heatmaps and replay off where PostHog records.
VWO, Optimizely, Kameleoon, and Convert: Never run both tools on the same element or page area.
